Doncrete & TTpots

I create handmade concrete pots from recyclables

What started as a curiosity — turning unuseful things into useful tools — grew into a exploration of texture, form, and repurpose.
Every pot is a combination of found materials, hand-mixed concrete, and patience. You’ll see raw textures, grit, and character in every one.

Through many life hurdles I found that gardening and plant care was a much needed peacefully retreat from my intense lifestyle. Since my family of plants kept growing I had to become resourceful with their living conditions. Hence “The Trash Pots”!

Skateboarding, one of many obsessions/passions, has given me an exhilarating lifestyle. From pitching in @ FDR, to flying across the county to skate other rad skateparks. My love for concrete has only grown. Enough so I thought Doncrete was a cool nickname!? This passion extends well beyond skating and building my ego…

DIY till I die!

I learned that if I really wanted something … DO IT YOURSELF! Experimenting with materials, and an open mind, anything could be built or reused.

How do I make these Pots?

Check it out!

Finding two containers that fit well together.

Prepare the inside container with a small piece of pvc pipe, typically around 1/2″ to 3/4″ thick, glued to the inside container to stabilize and create the drain hole.

Stabilizing the inside and outside molds with packing tape insures a uniformed thickness. A mold release agent maybe applied if needed.

Then mix up the concrete concoction and pour!
